Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our kitchen team and contribute to the consistent delivery of high-quality food while upholding excellent kitchen standards. This role involves active participation in food preparation, ensuring the quality and presentation of dishes meet our expectations, and strictly adhering to safety and hygiene protocols. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the proper handling and storage of food items, operating kitchen equipment effectively, and preparing and cooking customer orders accurately. Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment and collaborating with the ordering personnel are also key aspects of this position.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare food items according to established procedures. * Confirm that all prepared food meets the required specifications. * Ensure the quality and visual appeal of all dishes before service. * Follow all established safety procedures diligently. * Ensure the correct handling and storage of all food items, adhering to standards and sanitation guidelines. * Operate kitchen equipment, appliances, supplies, and tools safely and effectively. * Prepare and cook food orders accurately and efficiently for customers. * Prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes, fulfilling requests based on specific instructions. * Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment within the kitchen. * Understand and comply with all mandatory hygiene standards and requirements. * Collaborate with the designated kitchen personnel responsible for ordering supplies. * Assist with general cleaning duties within the kitchen. * Perform any other relevant tasks as directed by the Chef.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Previous experience in a similar role within a kitchen environment will be considered favorably. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cohesive team. * Must be physically and mentally capable of working in a fast-paced and demanding setting. * Possession of a basic food hygiene certificate is required. * Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
