Responsibilities and Duties

- Ingredient Preparation and Setup: - Properly set up ingredients and prepare them for cooking, following established procedures. - Clean, cut, and store ingredients according to established guidelines. - Maintain a clean and organized workstation. - Food Preparation and Quality Assurance: - Prepare a wide range of ingredients, ensuring the highest standards of taste and presentation. - Inspect raw and cooked food items to guarantee quality. - Inventory and Stock Management: - Check and ensure adequate provisions of ingredients, working equipment, inventory count, and supplies for daily operations. - Properly store all food products in designated fridges and storage containers. - Hygiene and Safety: - Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety throughout all kitchen areas. - Ensure food storage areas are maintained in accordance with hygiene, health, and safety policies and procedures. - Teamwork and Collaboration: - Listen to and follow advice given by Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs. - Assist with ensuring smooth daily kitchen operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Skills and Knowledge: - Basic cooking and sanitary knowledge. - Ability to communicate effectively in English. - Work Requirements: - Must be able to work weekends and public holidays. - Ability to follow directions. - Personal Attributes: - Attention to detail. - Willingness to learn.
