Responsibilities and Duties
- Team Leadership & Development: Guide and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where everyone can learn and grow. - Culinary Excellence: Maintain unwavering standards for food quality and consistency, ensuring every plate is a testament to the kitchen's dedication to excellence. - Efficient Food Preparation: Skillfully manage mise-en-place and food production, ensuring efficient workflow and timely service. - Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, manage orders, receive deliveries, and meticulously track wastage to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. - Inventory Accuracy: Conduct monthly stock checks, ensuring that all inventory records are precise and up-to-date. - Process Improvement: Collaborate closely with the senior chefs to identify and implement strategies for streamlining kitchen operations and enhancing efficiency. - Hygiene & Safety: Uphold the highest standards of personal grooming, hygiene, and food safety, ensuring a clean and safe working environment for the entire team. - Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure the kitchen and all equipment are kept clean and well-maintained. - Flexible Support: Be ready to take on additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the management team.
Qualifications and Requirements
