Kitchen Assistant

We're on the lookout for a dependable and enthusiastic Kitchen Attendant to join our team. If you're passionate about food and looking to build a career in the kitchen, this role offers hands-on experience and room to grow. As the backbone of the kitchen, you’ll keep operations running smoothly by maintaining cleanliness, prepping ingredients, and supporting the culinary team.

Responsibilities and Duties

*Keep all food prep areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times *Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware, ensuring they’re dried and stored properly *Sort and organize ingredients for use throughout the day *Assist with basic food prep like washing, chopping, and slicing vegetables or proteins *Safely dispose of kitchen waste and manage rubbish bins *Help with laundry duties for kitchen cloths and uniforms *Sanitize work surfaces, floors, tools, and kitchen equipment regularly *Support chefs and kitchen supervisors with any additional tasks or duties as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

*A good team player who can follow instructions well *Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment *Physically fit and willing to be on your feet throughout the shift *Open to learning and interested in kitchen operations *No prior experience required—training will be provided
