We're looking for a passionate and skilled culinary professional to join our team as a Junior Sous Chef. This role is a stepping stone for individuals eager to grow their culinary leadership and contribute to a vibrant kitchen environment. You'll work closely with the Head Chef, playing a key role in menu development, team management, and ensuring top-notch food quality.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Foster a collaborative and supportive team atmosphere, demonstrating strong people management skills. * Actively participate in crafting new menu items and maintaining accurate cost records for all dishes. * Oversee the organization and management of kitchen inventory, ensuring proper dating and storage for optimal freshness. * Collaborate with the Head Chef and management on supply orders, cost control, kitchen efficiency, and staff scheduling. * Ensure the culinary team consistently follows recipes and standard operating procedures, delivering dishes that meet our brand's quality and presentation standards. * Address and resolve guest concerns and complaints with professionalism and empathy. * Train new kitchen staff on restaurant and kitchen standards, providing ongoing coaching and mentorship. * Maintain strict adherence to proper purchasing, receiving, and food storage protocols. * Ensure all kitchen staff maintain high standards of grooming and hygiene. * Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, promptly reporting any issues to management. * Support the company's expansion initiatives.
