Account Executive

Description

This role is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, contributing to month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing cash flow, and liaising with various internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), general ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations. * Assist in preparing complete sets of financial accounts during monthly and annual closing periods. * Ensure the timely and accurate preparation, analysis, and reporting of monthly financial data. * Communicate with internal teams and external parties regarding accounting and payment-related matters. * Ensure accurate and timely tracking of expenses, processing of payments, and receipt of incoming funds. * Manage and monitor company cash flow, providing regular updates to management. * Verify, validate, and match all incoming financial documents. * Maintain complete and up-to-date intercompany records within the accounting system. * Manage fixed asset records and calculate depreciation. * Prepare monthly management reports summarizing key financial information. * Communicate with external auditors, tax advisors, banking institutions, and the company secretary.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Professional certifications such as ACCA or equivalent are highly desirable. * Proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of local financial regulations are essential.
