F&B Kitchen (CDP, Demi Chef, Commis Cooks)

Description

We are expanding our culinary team and seeking passionate individuals to fill various kitchen positions within our fresh pasta locations. We welcome those with culinary experience and those eager to learn, offering opportunities for professional growth in a vibrant kitchen environment. Positions available include experienced line cooks, assistant chefs, and entry-level kitchen assistants.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and quality standards. * Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen. * Demonstrate understanding of menu item recipes and preparation techniques. * Execute mise-en-place, including ingredient preparation, cutting, cooking, and plating, as directed. * Assist in controlling food costs by minimizing waste, spoilage, and ensuring proper portioning. * Properly handle and maintain kitchen equipment, tools, and machinery. * Participate in training sessions, staff meetings, and offer suggestions for improvement. * Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as company policies. * Assist with stock requisition, receiving, and proper storage. * Perform assigned tasks to the best of your ability. * Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the kitchen team. * Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to cleaning schedules.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Relevant culinary skills and food service experience, tailored to the specific position. * For entry-level positions, a willingness to learn is highly valued, and training will be provided. * Familiarity with Italian or Western cuisine is a plus, but not mandatory. * Food safety certification is preferred (assistance will be provided for those without). * Availability to work 44 hours per week, including flexible schedules such as split shifts, weekends, and holidays.
