Responsibilities and Duties

* Meal Preparation Support: Assist cooks with the preparation of various meal ingredients, including washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruits, vegetables, poultry, and meat. * Cooking Assistance: Support cooking processes, such as stirring and heating soups and sauces, under supervision. * Kitchen Cleanliness & Organization: Wash and properly store all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes. Ensure the kitchen, cold room, and storeroom are organized and food supplies are stored correctly. * General Kitchen Chores: Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a kitchen assistant or similar role is preferred. * Ability to perform split shifts and work on weekends and public holidays as required by operational needs. * Possess a proactive and hardworking attitude with a strong eagerness to learn and contribute to the team. * Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues. * Committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
