Sous Chef

Description

We're seeking a dynamic culinary leader to bridge the gap between our central culinary vision and the day-to-day operations of our various dining locations. This role is pivotal in ensuring consistent quality and excellence across all outlets, fostering a cohesive and high-performing team.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Act as a key liaison between the senior culinary leadership and individual restaurant locations, ensuring seamless implementation of operational standards. * Clearly communicate and enforce all established standards, policies, and expectations across all dining outlets. * Guarantee that equipment and sanitation protocols are consistently met, supplies are readily available, recipes are up-to-date, and expectations are clearly conveyed. * Organize and conduct regular training sessions on a monthly basis. * Rotate and work across different restaurant locations as needed, based on business demands and at the discretion of senior culinary management. * Maintain active involvement in all aspects of daily operations at each assigned restaurant location. * Oversee the efficient and profitable functioning of assigned outlets, ensuring expenses and purchases remain within budget. * Participate in weekly meetings with senior culinary management to discuss upcoming initiatives and review current action plans. * Mentor and guide new employees, supporting their professional development within the restaurant locations. * Adhere to all company rules and regulations. * Manage staff schedules, transfers, overtime, and holiday requests. * Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A minimum of a diploma-level qualification. * At least eight years of experience in the food and beverage service industry. * Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. * A personable and energetic demeanor. * A positive and proactive 'can-do' attitude.
