Operations Analyst

Description

This is a full-time remote position for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Analyst. You will play a critical role in supporting the company's operations within the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including data analysis, financial reporting, operational support, and compliance. We are seeking a talented individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for the DeFi space.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Assist in the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of various processes. * Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support the execution of operational processes and controls. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of operational processes, accounting procedures, and protocol interactions. * Contribute to the preparation of key financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, and provide insightful analysis for management decision-making. * Contribute to the development and improvement of internal controls and risk management strategies to enhance the security and reliability of DeFi operations. * Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and seamless interdepartmental coordination. * Assist in compliance-related tasks, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and internal policies. *Provide administrative support to various departments, including data entry and record-keeping. * Support senior team members in various operational and financial projects as required. * Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in DeFi and blockchain technology.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or a related field. 1-2 years of relevant experience (internships accepted). *Basic proficiency in data analytics and skilled in using Excel, Adobe PDF, and other business tools. * Strong problem-solving and basic project management skills with some familiarity in startup environments. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders. * Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required for effective communication with international counterparties. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
