Accounts Manager

Responsibilities and Duties

* Direct and oversee the daily activities of the accounting department. * Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets. * Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations. * Develop and implement accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. * Coordinate and communicate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies. * Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance and support to accounting staff. * Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement. * Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals and initiatives. * Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes related to financial management.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or an equivalent professional certification is preferred. * A minimum of five years of experience in accounting or auditing, with at least two years in a management role. * A strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements. * Demonstrated experience in managing audits and ensuring adherence to internal controls. * Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. * Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. * Strong attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and a focus on accuracy and problem resolution. * Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
