A skilled culinary artisan is sought to lead a designated station within our bustling kitchen. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and leadership, reporting directly to the Sous Chef. The ideal candidate will be a passionate cook, capable of crafting exceptional dishes while nurturing the skills of junior team members and upholding the highest standards of kitchen operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare, cook, and present superior dishes within your specialized area. * Collaborate with senior chefs to innovate menu items, recipes, and dish concepts. * Expertly handle the preparation of meat and fish. * Contribute to the implementation of health and safety protocols. * Assist in maintaining stringent food hygiene standards. * Guide, mentor, and train Commis Chefs. * Monitor portion sizes and minimize food waste. * Ensure the kitchen and food safety standards are consistently met.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven proficiency in running a specific kitchen section. * Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. * Experience in managing and developing Commis Chefs. * Capability to produce consistently high-quality food across all sections. * Effective verbal communication skills. * Demonstrated team management abilities. * Exceptional attention to detail. * Strong numerical skills. * A genuine passion for personal and team development. * Flexibility to adapt to changes and embrace new culinary approaches. * A positive and approachable demeanor. * Strong team player qualities. * A willingness to work various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends. * A desire to grow within the culinary field. * Transferable skills such as organization, problem solving, and multitasking. * Salary Range: $2,700 - $3,100.
