Responsibilities and Duties

*Oversee daily culinary operations to ensure efficiency and excellence *Monitor and maintain food quality, portion sizes, consistency, and plating standards *Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring optimal staffing levels and performance *Develop and deliver training programs focused on kitchen safety, hygiene, and accident prevention *Manage sourcing and procurement of ingredients, including negotiating with local and overseas vendors—particularly for Greek products *Coordinate with logistics providers for timely delivery of international supplies *Schedule and arrange maintenance or repair of kitchen appliances as needed *Assist with additional duties assigned by the Head Chef or as required for kitchen operations

Qualifications and Requirements

*A Bachelor’s Degree in any field is preferred; diploma holders with strong experience will also be considered *Extensive hands-on experience in Greek cuisine is essential *Background in fine dining, especially in Greek gastronomy, is highly desirable *Ability to communicate in Greek is a must for supplier coordination *Proficient in basic computer applications for kitchen management and ordering *Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills *Flexible and willing to work split shifts, weekends, and public holidays
