Responsibilities and Duties

* Support the lead chef in the seamless execution of daily kitchen tasks. * Prepare and cook superior Italian dishes, maintaining consistent quality and exceptional presentation. * Guide and educate junior kitchen staff, fostering a cooperative and productive work atmosphere. * Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring alignment with our high standards. * Ensure strict adherence to all food safety and sanitation guidelines. * Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate new menu items and daily specials. * Manage food inventory and place supply orders as required. * Monitor kitchen equipment functionality and report any required maintenance. * Contribute to menu development and cost-effective kitchen operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A minimum of ten years of professional culinary experience, with a focus on Italian cuisine. * Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience in a dynamic, high-volume kitchen. * Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. * Excellent communication and organizational abilities. * Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
