Accounts Executive

Description

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions. This includes processing and ensuring accurate recording of invoices in the accounting system, reviewing intercompany transactions and balances, performing bank reconciliations, and assisting with the preparation and submission of GST returns. The role also involves coordinating with auditors, tax agents, and other professionals for audit, compliance, and taxation matters. Additionally, the Accounts Executive will provide administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, data entry, invoice processing, and maintaining records.

Responsibilities and Duties

Manage all aspects of accounting functions. Ensure accurate recording of all invoices in the accounting system. Prepare and review intercompany transactions and balances. Perform bank reconciliations regularly. Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns. Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and other professionals for audit, compliance, and taxation purposes. Offer administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, data entry, invoice processing, and maintaining records.

Qualifications and Requirements

Diploma in Accounting/Finance At least 3 years of experience in a local construction firm with audit experience Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills Able to work under pressure, maintain a positive attitude, and meet tight deadlines Experience with MYOB accounting software is an advantage
