This role supports the Head Chef in leading kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest culinary standards. Responsibilities and Duties

* Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and team management * Prepare and cook high-quality Italian dishes with consistency and precision * Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to uphold standards * Contribute to menu development, food presentation, and seasonal specials * Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control food wastage * Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards * Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace regulations * Support smooth coordination of service during peak hours

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role * Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, techniques, and ingredients * Leadership and organizational skills with the ability to mentor a team * Creative approach to menu planning and presentation * Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities * Valid Food Hygiene Certificate required * Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
