Finance Manager

Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to oversee all aspects of our financial operations. This role involves leading a team of four finance professionals, ensuring efficient and compliant financial processes, and contributing to the company’s overall financial success.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four finance staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. - Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), cash flow management, and payment processing. - Ensure accurate and timely billing, collections, and resolution of customer billing issues. - Optimize financial processes to improve accuracy and efficiency. - Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. - Submit monthly financial reports to Corporate Finance. - Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, evaluate performance, and provide actionable insights. - Prepare and file quarterly GST returns. - Collaborate with tax agents to ensure timely and accurate filing of annual tax returns. - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls while driving process improvements. - Lead the annual budgeting process, including the preparation and monitoring of departmental budgets. - Conduct cost and sales analyses to support strategic decision-making. - Coordinate with external auditors during the annual financial audit and ensure timely filing of audited accounts. - Participate in and oversee ad-hoc finance projects as needed. - Work closely with the accounting outsourcing team to achieve accurate and timely month-end closings. - Partner with other departments to address their financial needs and ensure seamless collaboration.

Qualifications and Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years in finance management. - Proven experience leading and managing a finance team. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. - Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
