SALES MANAGER

Description

This role is responsible for managing and leading the sales team to achieve organizational sales goals. The Sales Manager will oversee all aspects of the sales process, from developing and implementing sales strategies to coaching and motivating the sales team. This position requires a strong understanding of the telecommunications industry, including relevant regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan that includes sales targets, revenue goals, and expense controls. * Meet established sales targets consistently. * Set individual sales targets for each member of the sales team. * Track and monitor sales performance, reporting on results as needed. * Oversee the activities and performance of the entire sales team. * Collaborate with the marketing department to generate leads. * Provide ongoing training and development for the sales team. * Motivate, coach, and educate the sales team on product knowledge. * Develop in-depth knowledge of telecommunications protocols and procedures. * Promote the organization and its products effectively. * Understand the needs and preferences of ideal customers in relation to the company's products. * Liaise with telecommunications service providers (e.g., Singtel, Starhub, M1) as needed. * Stay informed about and comply with relevant regulations and guidelines from the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA).

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven experience in sales management and leadership within the telecommunications industry. * Strong understanding of telecommunications protocols, procedures, and regulations. * Knowledge of relevant industry regulations (e.g., IMDA regulations). * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to motivate, coach, and mentor a sales team. * Proficiency in sales forecasting and reporting. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
