Responsibilities and Duties

*Work alongside the Head Chef to oversee smooth and efficient daily kitchen operations *Monitor food preparation to ensure high standards in taste, presentation, and consistency *Handle inventory planning, order supplies, and manage food cost and waste effectively *Support team briefings and quality discussions to maintain high service standards *Optimize kitchen productivity by managing prep times and service flow *Coach and train new team members to ensure performance consistency *Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene throughout the kitchen *Enforce food safety practices and ensure compliance with all health regulations *Participate actively in improving kitchen systems, processes, and communication

Qualifications and Requirements

*Strong team player with a passion for food and kitchen operations *Prior experience in a kitchen role is an advantage, but a great attitude matters most *Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment *Willing to take initiative, learn from others, and support your teammates *Ready to work weekends and public holidays as part of a rotating schedule *Detail-oriented with good organizational and multitasking skills *Familiar with food hygiene standards and committed to maintaining cleanliness *Excellent communication and a collaborative mindset *Energetic, reliable, and open to feedback and growth
