Description

We are seeking a highly organized and results-oriented individual to lead our culinary operations. This pivotal role involves establishing strategic goals, maintaining exceptional food quality, and ensuring efficient kitchen management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to fostering a high-performing team.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Define clear and achievable objectives for performance, budget management, and team development. * Oversee all food preparation techniques, guaranteeing consistently superior product standards and adherence to standard operating procedures. * Supervise all kitchen areas, ensuring the consistent delivery of top-quality products across all culinary functions while meeting operational deadlines. * Monitor progress against plans, ensuring timelines are met, and proactively address any significant deviations. * Research, develop, and refine our culinary offerings, including generating innovative product ideas informed by market insights. * Enforce all hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. * Select appropriate new or replacement food processing equipment, utensils, and other necessary hardware. * Supervise the continuous flow of inventory, from ordering and storage to timely delivery. * Train and mentor staff on food preparation techniques, standard operating procedures, and company policies. * Review all inventory transfer records within the relevant system. * Ensure optimal customer satisfaction through effective planning, organization, and control of operational and administrative functions. * Undertake any other relevant tasks and responsibilities as directed by leadership.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven experience in a leadership role within a culinary environment. * Strong understanding of food preparation methods and quality control. * Knowledge of and commitment to upholding strict hygiene and safety standards. * Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. * Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions regarding inventory and costs. * Strong training and coaching abilities to develop team members. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills. * Familiarity with inventory management systems.
