Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare daily ingredients and components for the pastry section, ensuring everything is ready for service. * Adhere to proper food handling and temperature control standards for all pastry products. * Assist the Pastry Chef in the artistic decoration of pastries and desserts, contributing to visually appealing presentations. * Maintain consistently high quality in all dessert offerings. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless cooking operations, accommodating special requests and dietary needs. * Uphold strict hygiene standards in all work areas, ensuring a clean and organized workspace. * Regularly monitor and report on food supply levels and other necessary items. * Carry out any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A minimum of 2-3 years of practical kitchen experience, preferably within a refined dining environment. * Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions in English. * Capability to manage multiple tasks and perform effectively under pressure. * Knowledge of and adherence to international food safety and health guidelines. * Successful completion of all required job-related assessments. * Ability to perform physical tasks as required. * Ability to work in an environment with moderate exposure to heat, dust, fumes, smoke, and noise. * Capability to perform moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 25 kilograms and standing or walking for extended periods. * Awareness of and adherence to basic safety precautions in a potentially hazardous work environment.
