Demi / Chef De Partie (Cuisine)

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled culinary professional to join our team. This role involves working five straight shifts totaling 44 hours per week, with assignments at either a specific outlet or our central kitchen. The primary focus will be to support the Chef in the creation and preparation of dishes, while strictly adhering to food handling and hygiene guidelines. The ideal candidate will ensure that all food served and displayed meets our quality, quantity, and recipe standards, and will also be involved in verifying the quality and quantity of received goods. Collaboration and positive interaction with the entire culinary team are essential to achieving the highest level of food quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Support the Chef in developing and preparing culinary offerings. * Adhere strictly to all food handling and hygiene regulations as set by relevant authorities. * Ensure the quality, correct amounts, and proper presentation of all food items served and displayed, following established recipes. * Verify that the quantity and quality of all delivered ingredients meet order specifications and are stored appropriately. * Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with chefs, superiors, peers, and subordinates to ensure optimal food quality.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A minimum of two to three years of relevant experience specifically within French cuisine. * Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to different roles and responsibilities within the kitchen. * Proven capacity to work effectively and contribute positively within a team setting. * Must consistently maintain a positive and professional demeanor. * Willingness to work five days a week, including weekends and public holidays as required.
