Guest Services Manager

Description

The Guest Services Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of all sections within the Front Office, ensuring efficient service across all hotel departments. This role involves ensuring guests are attended to promptly and courteously, handling guest complaints with tact and professionalism, and assisting with guest check-ins and check-outs. The supervisor will also inspect rooms assigned to VIPs prior to their arrival, ensuring that complimentary amenities are in place. Additionally, the role includes closely monitoring room inventory to optimize revenue and occupancy from group allotments, and training reception staff through planning, organizing, and conducting On-the-Job Training.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Oversee and manage daily operations of all Front Office sections, ensuring smooth coordination with other hotel departments. * Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service while addressing complaints with professionalism. * Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs. * Inspect VIP rooms prior to arrival, ensuring all complimentary amenities are provided. * Monitor room inventory to maximize revenue and occupancy, especially for group allotments. * Responsible for training and developing reception staff, including planning, organizing, and conducting On-the-Job Training.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Familiarity with Opera Cloud is highly preferred and considered an advantage. * Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills. * Flexible and willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to ensure smooth operations.
