Responsibilities and Duties

- Culinary Creation and Execution: - Contribute to the development and design of captivating food and beverage menus. - Craft and present high-quality dishes that are visually appealing and bursting with flavor. - Ensure consistent adherence to quality standards, ensuring every plate meets expectations. - Kitchen Operations and Leadership: - Maintain efficient kitchen operations, ensuring timely and high-quality food preparation. - Step in and lead food preparation planning and execution when needed, filling in for the lead chef. - Proactively address and resolve any kitchen-related issues, maintaining a calm and controlled environment. - Create staff work schedules, train kitchen personnel, and evaluate their performance. - Inventory and Compliance: - Manage kitchen inventory by ordering necessary supplies. - Enforce and adhere to all sanitation regulations and safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen. - Teamwork and Customer Interaction: - Cultivate a positive and professional work environment, fostering strong relationships with colleagues. - Maintain professional interactions with customers.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Culinary Skill and Creativity: - Demonstrated experience in food preparation and menu development. - A strong understanding of culinary techniques and flavor profiles. - Ability to create visually appealing and delicious dishes. - Leadership and Team Management: - Experience in leading and training kitchen staff. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks. - Operational and Problem-Solving Abilities: - Ability to maintain efficient kitchen operations. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations. - Knowledge of inventory management and ordering procedures. - Compliance and Professionalism: - Knowledge of sanitation regulations and safety standards. - A positive and professional attitude. - The ability to work well under pressure.
