Responsibilities and Duties

* Take ownership of and manage a specific kitchen station (such as hot, cold, or grill), based on your area of expertise. * Work in close collaboration with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure the seamless execution of daily kitchen tasks. * Ensure that the presentation, taste, and consistency of all dishes meet the established high standards of the establishment. * Guide and mentor junior kitchen staff members (Commis Chefs), fostering a strong sense of teamwork within the kitchen. * Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times, adhering to food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP). * Assist in managing inventory, ensuring proper stock rotation, and actively working to reduce food waste. * Manage order ticket processes, ensure accurate food labeling, and conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A minimum of five years of professional kitchen experience, with at least two years in a Chef de Partie (CDP) role. * Specialized expertise in either Western or Chinese cuisine – please specify your area of strength. * A strong team player with demonstrated leadership and effective time management abilities. * Comfortable working rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required. * Willingness to work night shifts (with an additional allowance provided).
