Description
An upscale bistro and wine bar is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations,lead staff,and deliver exceptional guest experiences.This role requires strong leadership skills,proven fine dining management experience,and expertise in wine and beverage programs. Responsibilities and Duties
* Oversee daily restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures * Ensure compliance with health,safety,and sanitation standards * Monitor food quality,presentation,and consistency * Implement and maintain operational procedures and service standards * Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally * Recruit,hire,train,and supervise restaurant staff * Create and manage staff schedules to ensure coverage * Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching * Maintain accurate operational records and reports * Oversee wine program including selection,inventory,and service standards * Collaborate on wine pairings and beverage events * Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and build rapport * Develop strategies to enhance overall guest experience * Monitor and respond to customer reviews and feedback * Support administrative and policy implementation tasks
Qualifications and Requirements
* 3–5 years of restaurant management experience,preferably in fine dining * Strong background in Western cuisine operations * Proven ability to manage upscale restaurant service and standards * Strong leadership,coaching,and team management skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Knowledge of food service regulations and licensing requirements * Proficiency in POS and restaurant management systems * Ability to work in a fast-paced,high-pressure environment * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills * Flexibility to work evenings,weekends,and public holidays * Experience managing wine programs and beverage operations preferred * Formal wine certifications advantageous
