Description

The Finance Manager will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company and group, including payroll, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other transactions. Key responsibilities include processing payments, managing collections, producing financial reports, and ensuring timely reconciliations. The role requires compliance with local laws, such as GST submission, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including account managers, bankers, suppliers, and auditors. The Finance Manager will also conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and support the review of consolidation packages from subsidiaries, reporting to HQ, while handling ad-hoc duties as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

Oversee daily financial operations within the company and group, including payroll, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other transactions. Record accounts payable and staff claims, processing payments as needed. Follow up on accounts receivable collections to ensure timely payments. Generate financial reports related to budgets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, and other financial data. Maintain accurate financial records and perform timely reconciliations. Ensure compliance with local laws and reporting requirements, such as GST submission. Collaborate with internal teams, such as key account managers, and external parties, including bankers, suppliers, subcontractors, and auditors. Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to the leadership team. Review consolidation packages from subsidiary companies and report findings to HQ. Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Ideally, 5 years of relevant experience in handling full sets of accounts, with prior experience in project accounting being a plus. Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, with a willingness to coach and support team members. Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy. A positive problem-solver with creative thinking abilities. A self-motivated, multi-tasking learner who demonstrates integrity in all aspects of work.
