Sales Director

Description

This position requires a seasoned sales professional with a strong track record in selling IT services, particularly within the banking and financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying and closing large deals, building and maintaining client relationships, and navigating the complexities of the IT services market.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching industry trends and exploring potential partnerships. * Evaluate potential business deals by analyzing market conditions, assessing risks and rewards, and aligning opportunities with company strategies. * Develop and execute negotiation strategies to secure profitable business deals. * Collaborate with the delivery team and leverage existing client relationships to identify and pursue new business opportunities. * Ensure timely collection of payments according to agreed-upon terms. * Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure profitable and sustainable business outcomes. * **Customer Management:** * Meet and exceed customer expectations through exceptional service. * Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. * Ensure clear and consistent communication between clients and the internal team. * Represent the company effectively to clients and manage their expectations. * Develop strong client relationships and cultivate client references.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven experience in selling IT services, particularly in areas such as application services, consulting services, and infrastructure services. * Demonstrated expertise in prospecting, qualifying leads, and creating compelling value propositions. * Proven account management skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention. * Relevant experience in the banking and financial services domain. * In-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape, including competitor offerings and future business plans. * Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. * Proven ability to develop and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), write compelling proposals, and prepare supporting documentation. * Ability to develop and execute effective sales plans utilizing proven sales methodologies. * Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong networking, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
