Sales Manager

Description

This role is responsible for driving sales and revenue within a food service establishment by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams. The focus is on achieving sales targets, expanding the customer base, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Achieve established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, aiming for a specified monthly revenue figure. * Develop sales forecasts and analyze sales data to maximize profitability. * Negotiate contracts for catering and event services, balancing profitability with maintaining positive customer relationships. * Create and implement sales strategies to attract new customers and encourage repeat business from existing clients. * Identify and target corporate clients, event planners, and other potential customers for group bookings and catering services. * Monitor market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive advantage. * Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with regular customers, event planners, and relevant stakeholders. * Address customer inquiries, complaints, and specific requests to ensure customer satisfaction. * Collaborate with restaurant staff to provide personalized dining experiences. * Work with marketing teams to design and implement promotional campaigns, discounts, and events. * Utilize social media, digital marketing techniques, and local advertising to expand audience reach. * Organize events such as food festivals, themed evenings, or other special occasions to increase customer traffic. * Collaborate closely with the restaurant's kitchen, service, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of sales commitments. * Coordinate with chefs to develop specialized menus and offerings tailored to customer preferences. * Maintain detailed records of sales data, customer interactions, and market feedback. * Present sales reports and strategies to senior management on a regular basis.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. * Demonstrated success in sales and marketing within the hospitality or food service industry. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to negotiate and close deals effectively. * Knowledge of relevant cuisine and cultural contexts to effectively communicate with the target market. * Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software. * Outgoing, proactive, and results-oriented. * Strong organizational and time-management skills.
