Assistant Restaurant Manager

Description

A proactive and detail-oriented individual is needed to support the Restaurant Manager in ensuring smooth outlet operations, profitability, and operational efficiency. This role focuses on assisting with team management, operational tasks, financial oversight, and customer service. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a passion for the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Create a positive working environment and develop staff. * Orient and train employees on company policies. * Manage and support the service staff. * Ensure proper execution of daily opening and closing duties. * Manage and coordinate operational activities. * Maintain store image and brand representation. * Monitor opening and closing procedures. * Communicate between staff and management. * Ensure POS system functionality and accuracy. * Coordinate kitchen and service operations. * Maintain proper uniform and grooming standards. * Suggest or develop new SOPs. * Perform assigned duties. * Achieve business KPIs. * Monitor food and stock wastage. * Manage daily sales transactions and cash float. * Monitor handling of vouchers, discounts, cash, petty cash, and tips. * Verify and process payroll. * Ensure sufficient supplies and stocks. * Maintain an attractive and orderly outlet appearance. * Prepare daily sales reports. * Monitor ordering, receiving, and storage procedures. * Motivate and train staff in upselling. * Attend to guest requests and complaints. * Ensure staff are informed about promotions.

Qualifications and Requirements

* At least 4 years of experience in food and service operations management. * Minimum Diploma in F&B management or related field. * Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage. * Strong team player and customer service orientation. * Strong initiative and integrity. * PC literate with MS Office proficiency.
