Responsibilities and Duties

* Support the lead chef in managing day-to-day kitchen activities, ensuring seamless workflow. * Oversee the procurement, receipt, and proper storage of ingredients, adhering to stringent quality guidelines. * Uphold and monitor the quality and consistency of all dishes, guaranteeing they meet our elevated standards. * Conduct regular checks on food freshness, presentation, and temperature before service. * Implement effective portion control, serving techniques, and purchasing strategies to minimize waste and maximize efficiency. * Maintain a meticulously clean, hygienic, and sanitized kitchen environment. * Ensure optimal storage and full utilization of perishable goods to reduce spoilage. * Monitor ingredient freshness and expiry dates to prevent the use of compromised products. * Execute additional tasks as directed by management to enhance overall kitchen operations. * Undertake other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, during peak periods. * A professional culinary certification, such as a vocational diploma or equivalent. * Minimum of three years of practical experience in preparing both international and regional cuisines. * Proven ability to work in a fast paced enviroment.
