Senior Executive, Finance

Responsibilities and Duties

- Oversee daily finance operations, accounting, and banking activities to maintain financial stewardship for a portfolio of companies. - Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial closings, including preparation of analytical reviews, cash flow analysis, accounting schedules, and bank reconciliations. - Participate in the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. - Ensure financial records and controls comply with corporate, statutory, and regulatory requirements. - Lead external audits and prepare financial statements. - Manage corporate secretarial tasks as needed. - Proactively document, review, and recommend improvements to finance processes and governance practices to enhance efficiency. - Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members to support their growth. - Undertake additional assignments as required by the organization.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. - Professional accountancy qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred. - A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance operations, reporting, or controlling roles within progressive business environments. - Strong technical expertise in accounting and working knowledge of financial controls and corporate governance. - Meticulous, analytical, and solutions-focused with a can-do attitude and a commitment to excellence. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence outcomes as a team player. - Ability to excel in a fluid, fast-changing, and results-driven environment.
