Responsibilities and Duties

* Design, plate, and present food items with artistry and precision. * Oversee and manage the kitchen's daily operations. * Prepare and cook dishes to our established standards. * Complete all necessary mise en place efficiently. * Maintain impeccable kitchen hygiene and cleanliness. * Ensure strict compliance with all relevant food safety regulations. * Manage inventory, including stock checks and supply orders. * Conduct daily cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment. * Create and manage the kitchen team's schedule. * Lead, train, and guide kitchen staff as needed. * Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing situations. * Uphold high standards for food quality and safety. * Enforce health and safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized workspace. * Collaborate closely with the front-of-house team to ensure excellent service. * Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

* 1-3 years of experience in a Western-style restaurant or in a kitchen leadership role is preferred. * A culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus. * Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations is essential. * Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is required. * A positive and enthusiastic work attitude. * A willingness to learn and grow professionally. * A strong team player mentality. * Exceptional attention to detail. * Reliable attendance and punctuality.
