Sales Manager

Description

This role focuses on generating and converting catering and meeting leads, primarily within the local market. This involves close collaboration with the sales team, responding to client inquiries, building strong customer relationships, and managing event logistics. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, results-oriented, and possess strong communication and organizational skills, along with experience in the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Collaborate closely with the sales team to generate local catering and meeting leads, ensuring thorough follow-up and monitoring to maximize conversion rates. - Respond to catering sales inquiries received via phone or online platforms. - Establish and maintain positive client relationships and rapport. - Proactively seek new corporate clients through cold calling and sales visits. - Assist clients with professional event planning, including packaging and menu selection. - Stay informed about current trends and developments within the catering industry. - Contribute creative ideas to enhance catering services for clients. - Manage the sales and profitability of event orders, ensuring smooth execution of catering functions.

Qualifications and Requirements

- A minimum of a secondary school certificate/diploma/degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. - At least five years of relevant experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred. - Effective communication skills in both English and Mandarin to manage Mandarin-speaking clients. - Self-disciplined, proactive approach with a strong sense of urgency. - Self-motivated, dynamic, detail-oriented, creative, and sales-focused mindset. - Outgoing personality, high motivation, ability to work independently, and a collaborative team spirit.
