Responsibilities and Duties

- Prepare and cook traditional Chinese soups and other dishes following company recipes and SOPs. - Ensure food quality, taste, and consistency are maintained at all times. - Assist in food preparation, ingredient handling, and storage. - Oversee daily kitchen operations and lead a team of junior kitchen crew. - Plan and coordinate kitchen staff schedules, breaks, and task assignments. - Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards (SFA compliance). - Monitor inventory usage and assist in ordering and stock checks. - Train and mentor new staff to uphold company standards and SOPs. - Communicate with service and outlet managers to ensure smooth front- and back-of-house coordination. - Report any kitchen issues to management.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a culinary role is required. - A strong passion for and knowledge of Chinese cuisine. - Experience with kitchen operations, food preparation, and inventory management. - Ability to lead, train, and mentor a junior team. - A team player with excellent communication skills. - Committed to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards.
