Finance and Accounting Executive

Description

This entry-level accounting position is designed for recent graduates or individuals with up to one year of professional experience. The role offers a valuable opportunity to develop practical accounting skills, apply fundamental accounting principles, gain experience with accounting software, and contribute to financial processes.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Assist with fundamental accounting tasks, such as data entry, account reconciliations, and invoice processing. * Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and statements. * Support the preparation and gathering of documentation for audits. * Learn and effectively use accounting software and internal financial systems. * Contribute to various accounting and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. * Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and relevant financial regulations. * Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word) and familiarity with accounting software platforms like QuickBooks or Tally. * Effective analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures. * Careful attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities. * Prior internship experience or relevant academic work in construction finance or accounting. * Relevant certifications (e.g., ACCA Fundamentals, CAT) are considered a plus.
