Responsibilities and Duties

- Oversee kitchen operations ensuring consistency, quality, and food safety - Lead recipe and menu development, including seasonal and event-based offerings - Monitor food displays, presentation, and creativity standards - Ensure compliance with local legislation, hygiene, and sanitation requirements - Conduct regular staff briefings, meetings, and training sessions - Manage procurement, inventory, and food cost controls - Review profit & loss statements and recommend cost-control measures - Delegate tasks, mentor junior chefs, and manage staff performance - Conduct market surveys and monitor portion control systems - Promote sustainability practices and minimize food wastage - Represent kitchen in executive and F&B strategy meetings

Qualifications and Requirements

- High school diploma or GED with 10+ years culinary/F&B experience - OR Degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel/Restaurant Management with at least 5 years of relevant experience - Proven leadership in Chinese cuisine and large-scale hotel/restaurant operations - Strong skills in people management, cost control, and operational efficiency
