Description

Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing effective inventory and pricing strategies, informed by demand and competitor analysis, to increase market share.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Drive revenue growth and market share by implementing effective pricing and mix management strategies based on competitive reports. * Develop a comprehensive pricing strategy across all market segments and distribution channels to maximize revenue, utilizing forecasting and budgeting techniques. * Manage room rates, inventory, distribution channels, and market segmentation effectively. * Oversee inventory control for all distribution channels, including the brand website and third-party sites, ensuring the optimal pricing strategy. * Identify new revenue opportunities and provide daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, including restricted dates, rates, and room type breakdowns. * Analyze data, booking patterns, and market trends to generate actionable reports. * Ensure all related systems are configured properly and operate at full capacity. * Evaluate the performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA, FIT, corporate, groups, etc.). * Monitor competitors and market conditions to refine rate and market-mix strategies. * Stay informed about room rates, packages, and promotional offers. * Supervise the reservations team, providing training and guidance to meet daily business objectives in the Revenue & Reservations department. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective sales fulfillment. * Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish departmental tasks. * Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration, Revenue Management, Business, Finance, or a related field. * A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the hotel industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role. * Prior experience with both local and international hotel brands is preferred. * Proficient in Microsoft Office, including email communication. * Familiarity with platforms such as Lanyon, Amadeus, Duetto, etc. * Knowledge of OPERA Cloud is a plus. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Excellent analytical and negotiation abilities. * Skilled in multi-tasking with a keen attention to detail and meeting deadlines. * Proven ability to lead and mentor team members. * Ability to effectively communicate and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
