Accounts Executive

Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare accurate and timely management reports and financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. * Record, reconcile, and manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. * Prepare and submit Goods and Services Tax (GST) reports to ensure adherence to local tax regulations. * Assist in the preparation of budgets and provide financial forecasting support to help clients manage their finances effectively. * Assist with internal and external audits by gathering and providing necessary documents, records, and reports to auditors. * Communicate effectively with clients regarding their accounts, addressing their questions and resolving any accounting-related issues. * Proactively identify potential problems, propose solutions, and contribute to improvements within the finance department.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, ACCA certification, or an equivalent qualification. * Recent graduates with strong academic backgrounds in accounting are encouraged to apply. * While 2-3 years of experience in accounting is preferred, recent graduates with a passion for accounting are welcome to apply. * Proficiency in accounting software like MYOB, Autocount, Xero, and Microsoft Excel. * Strong analytical skills with a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues. * Ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions. * Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. * Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and accounting processes.
