Description

We are in search of a creative and experienced Head Chef to craft exquisite fine-dining menus showcasing the true essence of Chinese cuisine. This pivotal role involves overseeing all daily kitchen operations, providing guidance and development to the culinary team, and meticulously planning food preparation processes. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to the consistent creation of top-tier dishes, ensuring seamless kitchen operations that elevate guest experiences. A passion for beverages and cocktails, coupled with a keen eye for ingredient quality and efficient procurement planning, are also essential.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Develop sophisticated fine-dining menus that emphasize the authentic flavors of Chinese cuisine. * Plan and manage the daily workflow of the kitchen. * Provide clear direction, supervision, coaching, and training to kitchen team members. * Strategize and organize the food preparation process for optimal efficiency. * Ensure the consistent production of high-quality and visually appealing dishes. * Oversee kitchen operations to guarantee smooth workflow and adherence to standards, thereby enhancing guest satisfaction. * Demonstrate enthusiasm and knowledge regarding beverages and cocktails. * Inspect the quality of fresh produce, such as fruits, vegetables, and fish, used in food preparation. * Plan and manage the procurement of necessary ingredients.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Demonstrated experience as a Sous Chef with a strong focus on Chinese cuisine. * Previous experience working in a fine-dining restaurant setting. * Exceptional communication and leadership abilities. * Current knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen procedures.
