Description

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Junior Sous Chef to assist in the daily kitchen operations and support senior kitchen leadership. This role is ideal for someone with strong culinary fundamentals who is passionate about food quality, teamwork, and growing their culinary skills in a structured environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

*Work closely with the Head Chef to manage daily kitchen workflow and service *Assist in crafting and refining new menu items and seasonal offerings *Help manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and support ordering processes *Step in to oversee kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef *Ensure dishes are consistently prepared to the highest standards in both taste and portion *Maintain a clean and organized kitchen that aligns with food safety and regulatory guidelines *Provide training, support, and guidance to junior kitchen staff *Carry out other kitchen-related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Requirements

*Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar kitchen role *Familiarity with food hygiene, storage practices, and basic safety standards *Strong attention to detail with a commitment to consistency and excellence *Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute positively to the team *Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative work ethic *Self-starter with a passion for culinary development
