Description

This position offers an opportunity to support the overall management of a restaurant and bar, focusing on operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. You'll assist in planning, organizing, and directing food and beverage operations, while ensuring a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Operational Management and Team Leadership: - Support the planning, organization, and direction of food and beverage operations. - Conduct daily team briefings to ensure clear communication and understanding of tasks. - Supervise team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and to departmental standards. - Maintain a departmental communication logbook and updated notice board. - Perform proper shift handovers and communicate essential information. - Assist other food and beverage outlets during busy periods or as needed. - Guest Relations and Service Excellence: - Cultivate strong relationships with guests, recognizing regulars and their preferences for personalized service. - Handle guest complaints and comments with tact and efficiency. - Ensure high standards of service delivery for all products, sales, and customer inquiries. - Administrative and Financial Support: - Manage administrative tasks related to cashier and bar operations, adhering to company policies. - Check equipment and stock levels to prevent shortages that could impact operations or guests. - Ensure the profitability and revenue generation of the outlet. - - Hygiene, Safety, and Compliance: - Inspect outlet and back-of-house cleanliness to ensure compliance with sanitation and hygiene regulations. - Maintain thorough knowledge of food and beverage services, preparation methods, and hotel services. - Ensure quality assurance standards, health, safety, and security procedures are in place. - Attend briefings, meetings, and training sessions as required.
