Responsibilities and Duties
* Culinary Support: Assist the Executive Chef and Head Chef in all aspects of service and food preparation. * Quality & Standards: Uphold the highest standards of food presentation, production, and portioning. Monitor dish preparation to ensure strict adherence to recipes and specifications. * Kitchen Operations: Perform day-to-day kitchen activities with efficiency and ensure a high standard of food hygiene at all times. * Team Leadership: Guide, train, and supervise junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive environment. * Inventory Management: Track the inventory of food supplies and place orders on a scheduled basis.
Qualifications and Requirements
* A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience is required. * Possess a Certificate in Culinary Skills or an equivalent qualification. * A high standard of personal hygiene and grooming. * Ability to multitask effectively in a demanding kitchen environment. * A reliable and collaborative team worker. * Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.
