Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance team. Responsibilities include managing Accounts Payable tasks such as invoice registration, matching purchase and delivery orders, and preparing payment vouchers for cheques and GIRO payments. The role also involves Accounts Receivable duties, including issuing tax invoices, official receipt vouchers, and following up on outstanding payments. You will be responsible for maintaining the Finance department’s filing system with confidentiality and assisting with additional tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities and Duties
Handle Accounts Payable tasks, including invoice registration, matching invoices with purchase and delivery orders, and processing debit and credit notes. Prepare payment vouchers and process payments via cheques and GIRO. Manage Accounts Receivable tasks, including issuing tax invoices and official receipt vouchers. Follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely debt collection. Maintain the Finance department’s filing system, ensuring proper organization and confidentiality. Undertake additional responsibilities and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field. Possess a positive, can-do attitude and a resilient mindset. Demonstrates a strong commitment to contributing individual efforts toward achieving team goals. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Open to Singaporeans only.
