Responsibilities and Duties

*Take ownership of a dedicated kitchen section, ensuring preparation and service standards are consistently met *Prepare dishes following set recipes, maintaining consistency in flavor, appearance, and portioning *Supervise junior chefs and trainees; mentor them in culinary techniques and kitchen protocols *Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations *Monitor ingredient usage, track inventory, and help reduce waste *Conduct quality checks to ensure every plate meets the restaurant’s expectations *Work closely with Sous Chef and Head Chef to enhance menu items and refine cooking techniques *Coordinate with other sections for seamless kitchen operations during peak hours *Relay special dietary requests to the kitchen team and ensure they are handled correctly

Qualifications and Requirements

*2–3 years of experience in a Chef de Partie or similar role, ideally in a hotel or high-volume kitchen *Exposure to sustainable, farm-to-table, or buffet-style service is an advantage *Proficient in a variety of modern and international cooking styles *Able to perform under pressure while maintaining efficiency and quality *Strong organizational and time-management skills *Committed to environmentally friendly practices and creative cooking methods *Culinary diploma or equivalent professional training *Possession of a valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or equivalent qualification)
