Accounts Executive (Accounts Receivable, Woodlands)

Description

This role is critical for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of customer accounts and timely collection of payments. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from processing invoices to following up on outstanding balances.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable processes, including recording sales transactions, issuing invoices, and applying customer payments. * Ensure the timely and accurate billing of invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and other financial documents. * Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies. * Research and resolve customer billing inquiries. * Process customer payments and maintain accurate customer payment records. * Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and implement effective collection procedures to ensure timely payments. * Generate reports on accounts receivable activity and aging analysis. * Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Diploma in Accounting or a related field. * At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role. * Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. * Proficiency in accounts receivable processes and procedures. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
