Service Crew

Description

A specialty patisserie café is looking for enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join its team as Part-Time Service Crew. You will be responsible for providing warm guest service, assisting with food and beverage preparation, supporting floor operations, and ensuring smooth daily café service. Responsibilities and Duties

* Welcome guests, take orders, make recommendations, and handle enquiries (in-person & phone) * Prepare simple orders (toast pies, assemble salads, prepare drinks) * Support floor operations: run food/drinks, clear and reset tables * Handle cashiering, operate POS, and assist with payments * Assist back-of-house with simple dishwashing and opening/closing routines * Maintain hygiene, allergen safety, and cleanliness standards at all times

Qualifications and Requirements

* Warm, positive, and willing-to-learn attitude * Team player with good communication skills * Basic numeracy for POS/cash handling * Reliable and punctual; able to stay calm during busy service * Barista skills and Basic Food Hygiene/Food Safety Level 1 certification (advantage, but not required)
