Description
The F&B Accounting Manager prepares accurate financial statements, conducts performance analysis, and provides insights into cost management, sales, and profitability. Responsibilities include managing food and beverage costs, payroll expenses, and financial forecasts, ensuring GST compliance, and facilitating annual audits. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to improve operational performance and managing accounting software. Additional ad-hoc duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for the F&B sector. Conduct financial analysis, comparing actual performance with budgets, and provide insights into cost management, sales, and profitability. Provide financial reports and KPIs to support decision-making, planning, and operational improvements. Manage food and beverage costs, inventory, and waste control. Monitor payroll, overtime, and staffing to optimize labor costs. Provide financial forecasts and ensure alignment with company goals. Ensure GST compliance, including timely returns and filings. Collaborate with auditors for annual audits and maintain accounting software. Work with internal teams to improve financial processes and operational performance. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience in F&B accounting or finance, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment. Proficiency with Info-Tech accounting software. Immediate availability. Bilingual in English and Mandarin to manage Chinese documentation and communicate with HQ staff in China.
