Kitchen Assistant (Packer & Cleaner)

Description

We are seeking a meticulous and efficient individual to join our baking team as a Baking Assistant. Your primary focus will be on the essential tasks of preparing our baked goods for distribution, ensuring accuracy and quality. Once these core duties are completed, you will have the opportunity to support our bakers in the initial stages of creating our delicious products. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a smooth and efficient baking process.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Accurately cut and carefully pack all loaves of bread according to preorders and outlet requirements. * Pack all cookies with attention to detail and presentation. * Thoroughly wash all used baking trays to maintain a clean workspace. * Assist bakers in the preparation of ingredients (mise en place). * This includes tasks such as cutting, weighing, dividing, and shaping various kinds of baked goods.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when cutting and packing baked goods. * Ability to work efficiently and independently to complete primary tasks in a timely manner. * Good physical stamina to handle tasks such as washing trays and potentially assisting with ingredient preparation. * A proactive approach to tasks, ensuring primary responsibilities are completed before moving on to secondary duties. * Willingness to assist bakers with ingredient preparation as needed, following their instructions carefully. * Basic understanding of hygiene standards in a food preparation environment. * A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented baking process.
