Responsibilities and Duties

* Lead and manage a team of approximately 6 kitchen staff with confidence and integrity. * Create authentic and intensely flavorful Mala dishes that consistently delight our diners. * Manage kitchen inventory effectively and implement strategies to minimize waste. * Collaborate closely with the service team to ensure seamless communication and efficient food delivery from kitchen to table. * Mentor and develop junior chefs, fostering their culinary skills and promoting growth within the team.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Strong experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef, with a proven track record of success in a busy kitchen environment. * Deep knowledge and passion for Mala cuisine, with the ability to create authentic and flavorful dishes. * Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of kitchen staff. * Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage inventory, control costs, and minimize waste. * Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both kitchen and service staff. * A commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
